Reiki (pronounced "ray-key") is a Japanese healing art and a complimentary energy therapy based on the principle that everything in the universe consists of energy that flows around and through all living beings. Reiki proposes that disruption to this energy may cause health problems and seeks to restore the balance of the energy flow to a person by sending the energy flow received by the universe.  During a session, you may request to receive a hands on approach or to respect your space, a hands off approach.  Both options deliver the same healing energy to help the body heal itself.

Deep Tissue Massage is a type of massage therapy that seeks to access structural layers of muscles and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding the muscles). The slow, concentrated strokes focus on releasing chronic muscle tension and adhesions (knots) in these layers that lie far below the surface of the body.  Providing deep pressure, within your comfort zone.

This treatment focuses on a full back massage to relieve tension in the upper, mid, and lower back, neck, and shoulders.  Enjoy hot towels and reflexology on the hands and feet.

Performed fully clothed and on top of a massage table combining a series of compressions, stretches, and joint mobilization techniques to improve range of motion, ease muscular tension, boost your energy, and lower your stress.  Otherwise known as 'lazy man's yoga', this modality incorporates guided breathwork and firm pressure.  Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.

Did you know that there is an entire map of the body on your feet?  Receiving Reflexology promotes grounding, relaxation, and affects every system in the body.  Boost your immune system, improve digestive function, ease back, hip, knee, shoulder pain, calm the nervous system.  A full Reflexology session includes foot massage, neck massage, and your choice of aromatherapy, providing a total relaxation experience.

Hot stones harness the power of heat to induce relaxation.  The stones are placed on specific parts of the body, used to massage large areas, and warmed to the proper heat. They illicit calm and loosen up muscles (and fascia!) for deeper bodywork. Heat enhances circulation and improves the quality of treatment

In Traditional Chinese Medicine they believe that the body is filled with energy, called "Qi".  When this energy becomes stagnant you can experience pain and discomfort.  Fire cupping is used to relieve the stagnation in the areas in the body that hold the most tension. Don't worry!  The fire never comes near your skin, it is only used to pull the oxygen out of the glass cup before it is put in place.

Do you suffer from TMJ discomfort?  Do you grind your teeth at night?  Add on this 15 minute treatment to relieve pressure in the jaw, temporal lobe, and surroundings areas that contribute to TMJ discomfort.
